According to the latest COVID-19 updates, it reported that the coronavirus positivity rate crossed five percent in several cities of Punjab. The government of Punjab undecided to close the schools in the province. In the recent month, the majority of teachers and students were affected with COVID-19. Apart from this, the government discontinued Covid-19 tests in schools, increasing the sense of concern among the parents of the students. Because of rapidly increasing cases of COVID-19, all the students, teachers, and parents are demanding to shut down educational schools.
As per details, the primary and secondary healthcare department recorded 6.6% COVID-19 positivity rate in Punjab on Wednesday. Some of the parents said that the government has not taken the steps during the fourth wave of COVID-19. As COVID-19 situation in Lahore is going alarming therefore they demand to close educational schools.
