The fear of dengue mosquito breeding in Lahore government schools has increased. The District Education Authority has directed all school heads to upload thirty photographs on Monday and Tuesday to prevent dengue. According to details, the District Education Authority has led the school heads to ensure the implementation of SOPs for dengue mosquito control. Education CEO, Pervez Akhtar Khan said that grass should not be grown in the grounds of schools, water should not accumulate in the roofs and grounds of classrooms.
In this regard, all DEOs will provide a certified number of schools in their districts, the number of registered and unregistered tabs. The presence of dengue register will be mandatory in every school; action will be taken against the leaders who do not comply with the orders. It should be noted that after the global epidemic Coronavirus, dengue has also started to rise in the provincial capital. In this regard, Assistant Commissioners have recently visited Lahore to review the anti-dengue operations.
