According to the news, the Education Authority Lahore rejects the proposal regarding the second shift of schools. A few days ago, the School Education Department issued a timetable. The timetable also has the timing/ schedule for the schools’ 2nd shift. But the Education Authority Lahore refused to accept it now.
Reasons for the 2nd shift
Because of the COVID-19, the government decided to open the schools under certain circumstances. One of them is to call the half students one day and the remaining on the other day. Now, due to this, some problems are arising. Most important is that in this way, students can’t pay their complete attention to studies. It is also difficult for teachers to complete the syllabus as they have only 2-3 days a week.
Thus for all these reasons, the Education Department issued a 2nd-time timetable. In this way, the schools will call half students on the 1st shift and a half on the 2nd shift. Students could come to the schools regularly without any break.
