According to the latest news, we are happy to announce that all educational institutes in Punjab will reopen from September 16. On 14th September 2021, NCOC chaired a meeting with the Punjab Education Minister. In a meeting, they review the current COVID-19 condition and after reviewing they come to the point to reopen institutes from 16th September with 50% attendance. As the cases of COVID-19 decreased, therefore, Federal Minister for Planning, Asad Umar decided to reopen schools. As per details, Asad Umar stated that COVID-19 cases are reduced in 18 districts. The school will remain close in some districts, where COVID-19 cases are high.
Asad Umar in a meeting also stated that those who unvaccinated will not allowed to travel other city or visit any public place. It is mandatory for them to vaccinate first. After 30th September 2021, they will be ban to enter in public places. 2% of the population of Islamabad has been vaccinated. The government is trying to improve the situation in Corona. And life returned to normal.
