The Federal Directorate of Education FDE Islamabad issued the latest notification regarding the winter vacations. The notice is to inform all that the winter vacations in all Islamabad schools will start from 26 December 2022 to 31 December 2022. These vacations schedule is only announced for government schools under the Federal Education Ministry (Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training). All other private schools are free to follow this schedule of winter holidays.
All the government educational institutions under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will remain closed from 26th December 2022 to 31st December 2022. The educational activities will resume in all institutions from 2nd January 2023. The teaching and non-teaching staff shall stay in the station due to the reasons below:
- In case the management assigns any duty to them.
- Due to Local Government Elections.
