In a recent meeting, the Federal Ministry of Education issues the general terms and conditions with recruiting teachers for the Holy Quran. As the subject Holy Quran is considered compulsory, they start hiring the teachers of this compulsory subject. But before hiring, teachers must get training to apply for Holy Quran teacher. The decision was taken during the cabinet meeting proposed in the Lahore High Court in the presence of Fawad Chaudhry. The minister proposed that all provinces follow the education ministry’s instructions.
The federal cabinet also drafted an act to replace the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) of the Ministry of Education and Training and set up an inter-board coordination commission. A commission should establish to make IBCC an independent body. The federal level for coordination over the national curriculum and scheme of study. To make recommendations from boards across the country, the government will seek the formation of an inter-board coordination commission.
