The Holy month of Ramadan is going to begin the next month. Therefore, the federal government issued the notification in this regard. According to the details, the federal government decided to reduce the workload in the month of Ramadan. They propose to reduce the work timings for public offices in the holy month of Ramadan. In a recent meeting, the senior representative of the Cabinet Secretariat, the Establishment Division, suggests to Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the new office timing in Ramadan. Also, the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council (RHRC) has announced the dates for Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan. As per details, the first Ramadan will observe on 3rd April 2022 (Sunday)
After getting suggestions from other members, they propose that the work hours for public offices under the concerned federal divisions operate five days a week (Monday to Friday). However, the timing is 10 AM to 4 PM; the office on Friday will close at 1 PM. Not only this, but the Establishment Division also stated that government officials would open six days a week from 10 AM to 3 PM between Monday and Saturday and close at 1 PM on Fridays.
