- Part-I: Grammar Usage, Sentence Structuring
- Part-II: 1. General Knowledge, 2 Basic Arithmetic Algebra Ratios Percentages Arithmetic Means 3. Everyday Science 4. Current Affairs (Developments at National & International Levels in the last 2 years) 5 Pakistan Affairs & Islamic Studies Basic Level knowledge

The syllabus of Assistant Director Investigation comprises the two parts below.
