STEM Education in KPK
The Federal and KPK Government decided to launch STEM Education in the schools of KPK. Before this, the Punjab government started it and held a competition among students. Now, the Federal Department of Science and IT (S&IT) and KPK Department of Science and IT attend a meeting.
In the meeting, they talk about STEM education in KPK and other related things. The ministers and chief minister of both departments discuss all the primary measurements to initiate the institutes’ program. However, there were also the other members of the considered department present.
Thus, they decided that to start STEM Education in KPK schools, the following things are required.
- Fabrics Laboratories
- Science Club
- Relevant Science and Technology Projects.
However, the members also decided to start the program in the ten schools of the province. After that, the government will launch it in all the schools of KPK.
Scholarships
In the meeting, the departments also decided to provide scholarships to the toppers. Thus, the toppers of matric will receive Rs 10,000/month as a stipend. However, the intermediate topper students will also get a grant of Rs12,000 per month.
