As the educational institutes are going to open from May 24. Therefore, the government of Pakistan decided to vaccinate teachers and support staff on a priority basis. In a recent meeting, National Command Operation Center NCOC also took this decision. The main reason for vaccinating teachers is to eliminate disruption in the education sector and reduce learning losses. Therefore, NCOC and the government in this regard made it mandatory to support the education sector through the targeted vaccination of its teaching and support staff.
The ministry of education approached NCOC to assist respective provincial and local governments for speedy vaccination of teaching staff. In this regard, they write letter to all Chief Secretaries for swift implementation.
