An App for the disabled Students
Last Thursday, the Ministry of Human Rights launched a mobile app for differently-abled students/children. About this application, the Minister of Human Rights, Dr. Shireen Mazari, talked in an interview.
Through this app, children will be able to see the news regarding education, training, and rehabilitation centers. So by using this app, they will select any nearby schools under the Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE). So, disabled students now can get all related information without going outside. Thus, due to this application, the parents of those children will also be in relief.
Dr. Shireen Mizari said that DGSE made this mobile application with the assistant of the National Information Technology Board (NITB). She further said that through this app, about 30,000 disable students who can’t get admission will be able to learn.
The Director-general Special Education, Sheikh Azhar Sajjad, also gave some statements on the topic. He said that we are trying our best to assist disabled students or children by providing them with the necessary facilities. He said that Directorate General Special Education (DGSE) provided education, Vocational training, and rehabilitation centers. Other than that these children will also receive different services such as physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy, artificial limbs, etc. free. Now, people can download this app on their mobiles from the Google store.
