Government Plan to Spend 200$ Million On National Education Action Plan for COVID-19
A fruitful meeting was conducted by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Mohammed Jahanzaib to discuss the National Education Action Plan for coronavirus. The senior officials participated through video-conference. He deeply explained the disrupted education environment due to COVID-19. He took recommendations from the Federal Government representatives, provincial government education departments, and, planning and Development divisions
After consultation with the members, he decided to collect funds for the National Education Action Plan Program. He asked every member who participated in this meeting to contribute to this program.
All provincial governments are going to provide funds in the emergency National Education Plan. The Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Mohammed Jahanzaib directed the Ministry of Education to have consultative sessions with provincial governments and incorporate their feedback. The purpose of the National Education Action Plan for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)is to provide fabulous working strategies and interventions for Pakistan’s education system to cope with COVID-19.
