Govt Announced to Reopen Schools
Today, the government has announced the final decision regarding the reopening of schools after winter vacations. So, institutes will reopen from 18 January 2021. However, the government decided to open the institutes in phases. The government took this decision after the meeting with education ministers of all provinces.
Announced Phases
- In the first phase, 9th to onward classes will come to the schools from 18 January 2021.
- In the 2nd phase, from 25 January 2021, primary to 8th class students will come.
- While in the 3rd phase, the universities will open from 01 February 2021.
Board exams
In the meeting, the ministers also decided to delay the annual exams 2021. So now the scheduled exams in March will be in May/June 2021. Other than that, the members also suggested beginning the next academic session from August 2021.
