After consultation with other Education board secretariat, Punjab Government is deciding to take combine 9th and 10th class and 1st year and 2nd-year exams next year. Raja Yasir, Ministry for higher education, that the marking of matric board papers will almost be done. However, the final decision will be announced by the federal government soon. Further added, the Punjab boards committee of chairpersons said that conducting composite exams next year’s decision is still under consideration.
Furthermore, the additional marks will be given to those students who were to appear in the supplementary exams this year. However, those who will not accept this grace marks order can reappear in exams next year. However, it is a strange decision to conduct two board exams in one year. But it is not a final decision. The government of Punjab will further think about it after consultation with other stakeholders.
