According to the details, it is to notify all that the Directorate General of Religious Education approves registering all Madrasah to introduce the subjects. However, these subjects are also part of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School (HSSC) curriculum. To bring students into the Madrasah mainstream, the Directorate General of Religious Education under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training introduced Islamic Education over five years.
A few years ago, the government introduced the same reforms in the Musharraf regime but failed to produce the desired results. The purpose of this was to make religious education in Pakistan mainstream through the introduction of contemporary subjects in the madrassas.
