HEC Announced Guidelines
As the government announced winter vacations from 26 November 2020, HEC has issued some Educational Institutes instructions.
- HEC announced that the institutes would remain closed from 26 November-24 December 2020 due to the 2nd wave of COVID-19. So, in this duration, the online classes or home assignments will continue.
- From 25 December 2020-10 January 2021, all institutes will remain close due to the winter vacations.
- The schools will open again after winter vacation on 11 January 2021.
- In the 1st week of January, the government will arrange a review meeting to discuss the situation of COVID-19.
Students who can come to schools
However, all institutes will remain close, but the following categories of students can come to the institutes:

- Students with internet connectivity at homes
- Research students of M.phil and Ph.D.
- Foreign Students
- Students who are doing clinical training
- Those teachers who have to prepare/deliver online lectures
However, the university must clearly announce all the policies to these candidates to follow during on-campus classes. However, to improve the online class quality, HEC provided Rs 10 Million to each public institute.
