Recently, HEC Introduced e-courses on its policies regarding two topics to provide safety to the students. The launched courses are about “ Protection against Sexual Harassment in Higher Education Institutions” and “Policy for Students with Disabilities in HEIs.” According to the news, HEC introduced these courses with the collaboration of the following well-known organizations.
- United Nation development Pakistan
- UN Women
- Australian High Commission in Pakistan
However, NAHE (National Academy of Higher Education will host these e-courses. However, during the launching ceremony, the officials and related members of the organizations also talked about this initiative. The purpose of these courses is to provide safety to university students in a better way. It is an excellent step of the HEC, and hopefully, all things will go according to the plan for the betterment of students.
