HEC has announced the Law admission test to be held in December 2020. It will be the last HEC Law test (LAT) of 2020. So, the HEC announced the complete details of the LAT. Below is the detailed information regarding LAT’s last date, eligibility criteria, etc. HEC conducts the LAT test for the students who want to pursue their higher education in the law field. So, this test is for taking admission in 05 years undergraduate LLB degree from HEC/PBC recognized public/private sector. The last date to apply for HEC LAT is 12 November 2020.
Eligibility Criteria
All those candidates who passed intermediate exams (HSSC) or appeared in the 12-year exam can apply for the HEC LAT.

HEC LAT Date
- HEC decided to conduct the LAT 2020 on 05 December 2020 (tentative).
- In case of any change in the test date, HEC will announce it on the website.
- The registered applicants can download their roll number slip from http://etc.hec.gov.pk OR on the registered e-mail address a week before the test date.
- HEC will also send the email/SMS about the test date, time, and venue to registered applicants.
- During the online application form, the applicants must provide an email/mobile number on which the applicants will receive the Roll No. slip.
- Candidates must bring their roll number slip and CNIC on the Test day.
Registration Process
- Applicants have to visit the following link http://etc.hec.gov.pk for online registration.
- HEC will accept only Online Submitted applications.
- Candidates have to deposit Rs. 500/- online/ATM in the Account # 1742 7900 133401, Account title “ Higher Education Commission, Bank, HBL, Branch Code: 1742.
- Applicants have to post a copy of the ATM/Online transfer/ Deposit slip to the given address by courier to Room # 13-209, 2nd Floor, HRD Building, HEC, H-8, Islamabad.
- Applicants must mention their CNIC number at the backside of the Deposit slip.
