According to the latest news, the Postsecondary Education Reform Unit (PERU) of HEC and the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) decided to collaborate. The purpose of this collaboration is to strengthen the faculty capacity in post-secondary educational institutes. However, this capacity-building practice has been started in the affiliated public colleges. After some time, this practice will be implemented in the universities.
However, NAHE and PERU are working together to train the instructors. After that, those instructors will train faculty and master instructors from the affiliating universities and colleges in Pakistan. Thus, in this regard, PERU and NAHE conducted a virtual workshop on 19 May 2021 with 15 instructors. These instructors are top-performing candidates from NFDP in 2020 and represent different districts and provinces in Pakistan.
