The Higher Education Commission HEC issued a notification regarding the unrecognized universities. According the details, it is to inform you all that HEC listed the name of those universities which are totally illegal and unrecognized. The applicant who got admission to any of the degree programs at such institutes will not recognize by HEC. Hence, students informed not to seek admission to these institutions.HEC find out the degrees of chartered universities/higher education institutions (HEls) from Pakistan’s public and private sector and their approved campuses at specific places as mentioned on the HEC website. Private sector HEls are not allowed to grant affiliation. They can only operate through their accredited Main Campus and accredited campus/sub-campus having No Objection Certificate (NOC) of HEC as reflected on the HEC website.
