The government of Pakistan issued the latest notification regarding the public holiday. As per the notification, it is to inform all that the government announced a public holiday on November 09 in connection with Iqbal Day. A public Holiday will be observed on Allama Iqbal, 9 November 2023, throughout the Country. All schools, colleges, and offices will remain closed on coming Thursday. Every year, Iqbal Day is celebrated in all the provinces to pay tribute to Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the “Poet of the East”.The Government of Pakistan has officially declared him the national poet.
