On Thursday, Islamia College and University issued a schedule of reopening educational institutions. According to the latest notification, the matric classes of Islamia College shall begin on January 18, 2021. However, the classes for Intermediate shall start on 25th January 2021. Due to COVID-19, all educational institutes remain closed from November. Similarly, the classes of Grade 8 will commence on 25th January 2021.
Furthermore, the classes of university-level including bachelors, masters, M.Phil, and doctoral level would start from first February. The Registrar advised all teaching, non-teaching and students should strictly follow the SOPs against coronavirus. Everyone knows that the reason for closing educational institutes is just because of COVID-19. Students haven’t followed SOPs and the number of COVID-19 risen again. Therefore, this time, the registrar urged all staff to follow standard operating procedures. It is mandatory to wear masks.
