On 17th May, 2021, the University of Karachi issued a notification. According to the latest notification, it notified all that commencement of online classes and semester exams will be conducted as per the issued schedule. However, Karachi University introduces new SOPs and instructions for entering its premises and attending classes with regards to the Covid situation. The mode of examination will decide on 15th June 2021. Not only this, all departmental seminar libraries will remain closed for students. Only limited staff were allowed to visit offices.
Apart from this, the office timing starts from 9:00 AM and ends at 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday) for morning staff and 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM for evening staff. All teaching departments will remain open from Monday to Thursday. All canteen shall remain closed. All teaching and non-teaching staff should follow necessary precautionary measures as per the issued guidelines.
