On Wednesday, the University of Karachi is going to bring an amazing service for its students. According to the details, Karachi University signed the memorandum of understanding MoU with NTS Logistics to Launch On-Campus Electric Shuttle service. However, they provide six to 23 seaters roofless commuting vans. In a recent press conference, NTS Logistics also promised that according to the demand, the number of vehicles would increase with the passage of time.
On 31st March 2021, KU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi and the Chief Executive Officer NTS Logistics Muhammad Umer Nouman signed MoU at the VC Secretariat. Not only in KU, but also the Sindh government inaugurated the first electric bus yesterday. In the beginning, the 37 electric buses will operate on the route connecting Tower to Sohrab Goth.
