The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Educational Board made a big announcement regarding the 9th and 11th class result. As a result, the process has begun in KPK. Therefore, the various board chairman of KPK decided to succeed only some of the children in the 9th and 11th classes. They abolished the concept of failing in class 9th and 11th, and from this year, no child will be failed in class 9th and 11th. In a recent meeting, Chairman Peshawar Education Board Prof. Nasrallah Khan suggested that students who often fail in the 9th and 10th grades do not pursue further education. If students fail in three or four papers, such children are not placed in classes 10 and 12; thus, a year of these children is wasted.

Also, they stated that the result is only in the 10th and 12th standard, so why not give these children a chance to be promote to 10th and 12th instead of failing them? Hence, the proposal of the chairman has been approved by all Heads. In 2024, no student will fail the 9th and 11th classes. No matter how many papers the students fail in 9th and 11th, they will be promoted to 10th and above classes.
