KPK to launch Insaaf Food Cards
Recently, the KPK Government announced to launch of the Insaaf Food Cards for the Deserving citizens of the province. The deserving candidates will get the subsidized food items through the Food Card. The Cheif Minister Mahmood Khan approved the Insaaf Card for the citizens during the meeting on Tuesday.
According to the details, the government will spend 25.92 Billion on this scheme. At the same time, the deserving citizens of the province will receive Rs 2100/- per month. According to an estimation, around 5 Million people will benefit from the Insaaf Food Card Scheme.
There is also information that the KPK government will use the Ehsaas Program’s existing data to figure out the deserving candidates. Thus, on that Ehsaas Program Data for the citizens, the government will select the candidates for the Insaaf Food Cards.
At the same time, the KPK government has also signed an agreement with the Bank of Khyber (BOK) that will issue the Insaaf Fodd Cards on a similar model to ATM Cards. However, the cards will be effective from the coming Fiscal Year.
