On 01 July 2020, published a notification regarding private school fees and School leaving certificate. Private school regulatory authority KPK made decisions in its 12th meeting concerned with all private schools.
KPK Private School Decision about fees
Under the KPK epidemic control and emergency relief ordinance 2020, it is decided that all private schools will offer a special discount because of the COVID-19. The COVID-19 special discount is :
- 10% for the fee less than Rs 6000/-
- 20% for the fee more than Rs 6000/-
About the discount, it was also decided that the discount before this could be withdrawn or adjusted in the COVID-19 discount. It was also decided that this year, the private schools will not increase the fees.
The Decision About School Leaving Certificates:
A student will consider the school admission list until the date of his school-leaving certificate application. The School will provide the School leaving certificate after the clearance of all dues.
Other than that it was announced that the staff and teachers would be paid regularly. In this situation, schools will not discharge any staff members or teachers.
These rules are for all the private schools and concerned institutes in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
