Lahore Education Authority issued a notification regarding the summer camps. According to the details, some private schools arrange summer camps on hot summer days. After listening to this news, Lahore Education Authority ordered not to hold summer camps in schools. Some schools arrange summer camps for matric students for preparation purposes, but most use them for other purposes. However, now the summer camps are banned due to the scorching heat this season.
The schools arranged summer camps for students not only to cover or teach the syllabus but also to practice mostly co-curricular activities, including sports for mental health. But now, after the fruitful meeting, they decided to ban summer camps. The issue of setting up summer camps by private schools during summer vacations across Lahore has been banned by the Education Authority. Education CEO Parvez Khatak strictly announced not to hold summer camps; otherwise, strict action will take against that school.
