According to the details, the Education Minister of Pakistan has made some educational institutions’ closure. On November 23, 2020, the final decision/ meeting was conducted in this regard. As the second wave of COVID-19 has begun in Pakistan, the federal Education has expressed some new suggestions to all Pakistan provinces’ educational institutes. The details are as under
Schedule of Closing Educational Institutions:
After reviewing the current coronavirus situation, the Federal Minister of Education has presented three different policies/suggestions.
The first proposal is to shut down the educational institutions, especially primary classes from November 24, 2020, to January 31, 2020. However, the middle class closed from November 24, 2020, to December 02, 2020. However, the Higher Secondary School will have been proposed to shut down from December 15. The online classes of colleges shall start from 26 Nov to 25 December 2020. However, the winter holidays shall start from 26th December to 10th January 2021.
Education Session and Annual Exams 2021 Schedule:
It is also pertinent to mention that the Federal Ministry of Education ordered the new academic session to extend to May 31 instead of March. Now the matric and Intermediate Exams will conduct in August 2021
