Educational Institutes who Postponed the exams

Due to the 2nd wave of COVID-19, the government announced to close all education institutes for around 02 months. All schools, colleges, and universities will reopen on 11 January 2021 (tentative date) on the government instructions. So, from 26 November to 24 December, all the institutes will arrange online classes. Then from 25 December 2020-10 January, 2021 school will remain close due to winter vacations. 

Thus, many universities and colleges have postponed the scheduled exams during this duration on the government notice.

List of universities/institutes

Here is the list of those universities that have extended the scheduled exams.

  • Punjab University delayed the BA/BSc/Associate degree (part I & II) and MA/MSc Part-I exams.
  • BZU Multan Postponed all the scheduled exams until 11 January.
  • Similarly, Karachi University and Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad also delayed all ongoing exams from 26 November 2020.
  • UHS also announced to stop all undergraduate and postgraduate exams and practicals until 24 December 2020.
  • The University of Jamshoro also canceled all theory exams until the mid of January 2021.
  • The School Education Department and Higher Education Department KPK announced that all the scheduled exams in December would not conduct until further notice.
  •  In Balochistan, all classes from grades 1-8 will not work until 20 March 2021.
