Due to the third wave of COVID-19, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) took the decision to conduct all Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations which will be held after June 20, 2021. The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar and co-chaired by Lt General Hamood Uz Zaman Khan chaired a meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to review the COVID-19 current situation and make a decision of opening institutes.
Moverover, NCOC issued a notification that all matric and intermediate exams will take place after June 20. The statement said that the forum allowed staggered reopening of education institutes in districts with less than 5% positivity ratio from June 7 (other than those reopened from May 24).Now, students will continue their board exam preparation and get ready for the annual board exam too. This year, there is no chance of cancellation of paper.
