Recently, the Higher Education Commission Pakistan has advertised a notification about the scholarships in Cuba. The Government of Cuba has opened one Scholarship Slot in the field of Medicine (MBBS). Thus, the nationals of AJK and Pakistani can apply to study for their Medicine degree in Cuba. The interested candidates can apply for the Cuba Scholarship through the HEC website. Applicants have to apply online only. Thus, the last date for the Cuba MBBS SCholarships is 12 September 2022.
So, apply for admission on time. After 12 September, the HEC will close the online portal for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Cuba Scholarships 2022
- Students should have at least 70% marks in FSc and 60% in SSC.
- Results awaiting students are not eligible.
- All Pakistani and AJK National are eligible.
- Age: 18-25 years on the closing date of the application.
Cuba MBBS Scholarship 2022 Selection Criteria
For the Government of Cuba MBBS Scholarships, the selection criteria will be the following:
- Merit Formula: 50% Fsc and 50% Matric
- The final selection will be according to merit.
Cuba MBBS Scholarships 2022 Benefits
The Government of Cuba will cover the following expenses of the selected candidates.
- Tuition fee
- Food
- Hostel accommodation and Toiletries
- Stipend for living expenses (100 Cuban Pesos/month)
Besides these, all other expenses will be the responsibility of the candidates.
How to Apply for the Cuba MBBS Scholarship 2022
- The eligible candidates can apply for the Government of Cuba MBBS Scholarships through the HEC website.
- Register yourself through the HEC online portal and complete your application. (https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk/#/auth/login)
- After application submission, take a print of it.
After this, the shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and they have to upload the required documents online.
- Copy of HEC Application submitted.
- Matric degree/certificate/DMC
- FSc Degree/Certificate/DMC
- Birth Certificate
- Father/Guardian’s CNIC Copy
- Valid Passport copy
- Original Medical certificate
