On Wednesday, Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas urged parents to send their children to schools as per government schedule. Due to COVID-19, many people are afraid and still not agree to send their kids to schools. In this regard, the education minister posted a notification in which they encourage the parents. Added more, Muraad Ras asked school authority to strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and also advised kids to follow this. Sanitize their hands and keep social distancing. Avoid hand shaking and wear masks.
They already announced the phase-wise opening of all educational institutes from January 18, 2021. In a recent press conference. Murad Raas said
“I request parents to send their kids to schools. The corona SOPs will be followed more strictly than before and we are making the best arrangements for the safety of the children,” he added.
Securing children from such virus is our foremost duty. In this regard, Shafqat Mehmood clearly announced that authority is not responsible if the student does not follow the SOPs. They also said that we do not compromise on student’s health. Therefore, it is mandatory for students to strictly follow the SOPs
