On 28th June 2021, National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) decided to propose summer vacation for two weeks. The educational institutes from July 18 to August 1 will shut down due to summer vacations. However, the final decision regarding the summer vacation will made by the Provincial government on 29th June. Other than that, Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas gave his suggestion to propose summer vacations from July 2 to August 2. It may noted that after COVID-19 situation is under control, all educational institutes will start their physical classes.

Not only this, they also issued the examination schedule. But the decision of conducting 9th and 10th class board exams is final. Also, The schedule of Matriculation and Intermediate examinations will also finalize in the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference. The Department of School Education Punjab has proposed holidays from July 1 to 31.
