The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) issued a new policy regarding the quarantine period. As the COVID-19 once again occurs in Pakistan, therefore NCOC amends some policies in this regard. Now, NCOC shortens the period of isolation. Firstly, the applicant whose COVID-19 test comes positive will isolate for 10 to 15 days. But now after the NCOC meeting, they shorten the isolation period. Now the new isolation period is 10 to 15 days. Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shorten the quarantine period.
The majority of people getting infected with COVID-19 owing to a serious and widespread Omicron driven outbreak in the country, not everyone can be admitted to healthcare facilities, or else it would weigh down the health system of the country. The government of Pakistan advised all applicants to stay at home who feel cough, shortness of breath, trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, bluish lips, or face.
