Benevolent Fund Grants to ESTs
The Services & General Administration Department, Punjab, has issued a notification about the Payment of Benevolent Fund grants to the ESTs and other categories. The Punjab Government issued the notification concerning a previous letter dated 21 December 2021 under the same subject. In the notification, the government advised Law Department that ESTs BS-16 are drawing pay & Allowances to the tune of the said scale. At the same time, the employees contribute to the Benevolent Fund as per the rate fixed for BS-16.
The finance Department mentioned the Government Servants of BS 01-15 OFFICALS and BS 16 and above OFFICERS irrespective of the mode of their grants. However, the Benevolent fund is for the Government servants, not the posts.
Thus, stated the details statements in the notification, the government directed to convey that the cases of ESTs who have been granted BS-16 (personal) will be dealt with PGSBF. However, below is the notification of the Benevolent fund grants to the ESTS and other Categories.
