Extension of Spring Break in Sheikhupura City
On 30 March 2021, the Higher Education Department issued a notification regarding the extension of spring break. According to the notice, the HED extended schools’ break in Sheikhupura city till 11 April 2021.
However, before this, the HED announced and extended the school closure till 11 April in the following cities.
- Faisalabad
- Lahore
- Gujranwala
- Gujrat
- Rawalpindi
- Multan
- Sargodha
- Sialkot
Thus, now the department also announced the spring break in Sheikhupura city due to COVID-19 increasing cases. So, in these cities, the government ordered to ban all on-campus activities, including midterms or send-up exams. However, the remaining cities of Punjab will remain open according to the schedule.
