PMC Amended Education Regulations 2021
On 12 July 2021, Pakistan Medical Commission announced the notification regarding amended Education Regulations 2021. The commission made amendments after the successful open discussion with public and private medical and dental colleges/universities. Thus, Private institutes./colleges agreed to declare their amended merit criteria and weightage by 16 July 2021.
At the same time, the notification also contains the college’s fee schedule according to the institute score/grades. Thus, below is the complete details.
Colleges with a score A
All those medical and dental colleges who have secured an A score after the inspection will disclose their final fee on 13 July 2021.
Colleges with a score B
The medical and dental colleges that have secured a B score after the last inspection by PMC will disclose their fee on 16 July 2021. However, the announced fee will be according to the amended education regulations. The Fee will be 10% less than the Score A colleges.
Colleges with a score C
All those medical and dental colleges who have secured a C score after the inspection will disclose their final fee on 20 July 2021. However, the announced fee will be according to the amended education regulations 2021 and will be 10% less than the Score B colleges.
On the other hand, during the discussion with colleagues, the commission has extended the final closing date of private colleges’ admission to 30 January 2022. While for the public colleges, the last date is 10 January 2021.
