PMC Collaboration with US Medical Authorities
According to the recent notification of PMC, the Medical Authorities of the USA, including FSMB (Federal State Medical Board), agreed on the collaboration with PMC in the NLE. FSMB of the United States conducts the USMLE Licensing Exams in the US with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). PMC president requested the US Medical Authority the collaborate on multiple areas, sharing technical knowledge and improving the standard and structure of the PMC NLE exam. Thus, FSMB US agreed with the PMC President’s request and announced the collaboration with PMC.
However, in the collaboration, the FSMB President and PMC President discussed things in detail. A high-level delegation, including top leaders of FSMB, NBME, and IAMRA, will visit Pakistan in early 2023 to initiate the Collboarted programs.

PMC Notified tha the Commission has already launched the NLE exams on a Digital basis. Now, PMC aims to improve the NLE exams, which are an important component for Pakistani Doctors. However, FSMB also assured its support to the PMC in their WFME recognition Processes.
