PMC Delayed the Admission Date for colleges
According to the recent notification of PMC, the commission has extended the admission date for the admissions in colleges. Before this, the last date for private medical colleges admissions was 08 January 2020. However, PMC didn’t announce any new final date for admissions.
According to the PMC statement, they took this decision due to the delayed result of A-Levels. As the A-Level result will be on 11 January 2021, so, PMC will announce the date accordingly. Additionally, the commission extended the date because of the closure of admissions in public colleges and closure of admission portals in private colleges.
As this year, A-Levels exams cancelled due to COVID-19. So, the students are promoted based on promotion policy. But a lot of students complained that it was an unfair grading. That’s why the result of A-levels delayed, and now it will be on 11 January 2021. Thus, now the students of A-levels will also be able to apply for the admissions in medical and dental colleges.
