The PTB notified the Public Schools to conduct the Paper of Holy Quran Course in the 2022 examination. The Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board sent a 88 page Holy Quran course and ordered the educational institutes to add them to the Primary to Intermediate classes paper. The District & Session Judges will observe the implementation of Holy Quran Education and submit their reports to Secretary Education. Moreover, all the Government Schools have to fulfill the above orders. The CEOs had to announce the visiting committee by 15th November. Meanwhile, the District & Session Judges will submit their reports till 29th November 2021.
As per the Punjab Examination Policy, the Primary class students will undergo a 50 marks paper of Nazra Quran. While the students of class 1 will separately give 100 marks paper of Islamiat. The Non-Muslim students will give the paper on Ethics instead of Islamiat.
Syllabus for Paper of Holy Quran Course in Govt Schools
Here is the Syllabus of the Holy Quran Course for all the classes in the Government Schools.
Class 1: Tajweedi Qaida & last four surahs of Quran.
Class 2: 1st & 2nd parah of Quran
Class 3: 3rd to 8th parah of Quran
Class 4: 9th to 18th siparah of Quran
Class 5: 19th to 30th siparah of Quran
The first five classes will learn just Nazra-e-Quran, while classes 6th to 12th will learn the Quran with translation.
