As the schools are going to be open from September 15. Therefore, the Punjab Education Department recently announced the new timetable for reopening of schools. The Punjab Education Department has issued a letter in this regard. It is pertinent to mention that the classes of grade 9 to grade 12 shall begin from September 15, 2020, in all over Pakistan including Punjab.
New Timetable for Reopening of Schools
- According to the new time table, all classes will be divided into two major (even and odd) groups. The first group will attend classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while the second school will come to school on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
- The school timing is 7:30 to 1:00 pm.
- Assembly and break will be cancelled in schools.
- As the academic period is short, so the syllabus becomes shortened and has reduced to 40%.
- Classes for grade 6 to Grade eight grades shall start from September 23, while classes for children in grades one through five will begin on September 30.
