According to the latest notification, it is to inform all that Punjab Examination Commission PEC ordered teachers to check the exams online. Earlier, teachers checked the exams manually. But now the Punjab Education Department ordered the examination paper of classes 4, 5, and 8 online. The Punjab Education Department made it mandatory for all teachers from 26th April 2022. The Punjab school teachers will receive compensation through bank transfer, while the results for the classes will announce online, the notification stated. Earlier this month, the Punjab Education Department barred the use of study guides from private publishers in all the public schools in the province.

Not only this, the Punjab Education Department will also take notice of using key books and guides while teaching the students. They warned teachers not to use guides and helping books for teaching otherwise they face strict action. The department had directed the teachers to only use the books approved by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB), which are being provided for free, and avoid private guides and helping books.
