According to the recent statement, the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) decided to terminate board exams for the primary and middle classes. In Punjab, there will be no annual board exams before Matric (9th, 10th classes). However, the schools will conduct the tests from the whole syllabus according to which students will get promoted to the next grades. From the 2022 test, the whole syllabus will be included in the tests.
However, for the primary classes, there will be the subject of Nazra Quran with the Islamiat. However, Islamiat paper will be of 100 Marks while Nazra Quran will have separately 50 Marks. The institutes will conduct the written exams for grades 03-08. While for classes 01 and 02, the test will be oral.
