According to the details, it is to inform all well-qualified people that the government of Punjab is going to recruit four thousand teachers against vacant positions all over Punjab. Not only this, the Rawalpindi district also included. Not only this, the provincial government also recruited 1,000 educators in basic pay scale (BPS) 16 and 17 as subject specialists. As per details, the hiring process will done by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).The teachers’ leaders including A R Kiyani, Shafiq Bhalwalia and Basharat Iqbal Raja said that all vacant seats to fill through promotion.
Some people disagree with the decision and are not willing to fill seats through direct hiring. They urge the Punjab government to refrain from carrying out experiments and instead promote senior teachers after completing their DPC.
