According to Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas, The Punjab Government decided to ease the teacher’s life. The government made a lot of processes online so that it will be able to teach the students with full attention. Thus, from now on, teachers will not go anywhere for different tasks as they can perform them online.
Online Processes
For teachers, the Punjab Government made the following processes online.
- Teacher transfer
- Online leave
- Online retirement
However, the following processes will be online soon.
- Online promotion
- ACR online
Meeting with CEOs & DEOs
Before this, Murad Raas chaired a meeting with the CEOs and DEOs of 18 districts regarding school enrollment drives. He said that we have to take some to bring back children to the schools. However, they also talked about resolving the dropout rate of students from schools. Thus, in the Enrollment drive, schools will pay particular attention to those students who haven’t come for a long time after COVID-19.
Here, Murad Raas also clarified that in the enrollment drive, teachers would not be involved. However, the council will involve in it, and they will engage the local community to send their children back to the schools.
