Universities to Share Solved Papers with Students
Recently, the Governor of Punjab issued an order to share solved papers of the students with them. The governor gave this order to all public and private universities. Thus, now all institutes will show the solved papers of the students to them after the examination.
However, the governor gave the order after the verdict regarding the PPSC Case. Here are the details of that case. On 01 February 2021, the Information Commission Punjab ordered PPSC to show the solved papers to the candidates. However, the information Commission also rejected the PPSC Plea and instructed the PPSC to share the copies of papers within seven days.
After the order to PPSC, the Punjab Governor circulated a letter to all universities on 19 March. However, the letter contains the instructions to share the papers.
Thus, the copy of the Punjab Governor instructions, who is also the chancellors of universities, has been circulated among the following concerned departments.
- Secretary Higher Education Commission Punjab
- Secretary Specialized and Medical education department
- Agriculture department
- Secretary Livestock and Dairy Development
- Secretary industries, commerce, investment, and skills development department
