According to the recent news, the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar approved establishing 12 more universities in the province. Now, govt will make 12 public universities for higher education in different districts of Punjab. The CM Punjab approved the new universities decision during the meeting at CM house with Provincial Educational Ministers.
The Higher Education Minister, Raja Yasir Humayun, and Higher Education Secretory were present during the meeting. However, other concerned officials also attended the meeting.
On the approval of new universities, Usman Buzdar stated that these institutes would help in the promotion of education. So, male and female students will get Higher education easily, especially from remote areas. He further stated that we aim to provide Higher Education to the students with more opportunities at their doorsteps.
