Today, the Government of Punjab issued a new notification regarding a local Holiday. In the latest statement, the Punjab government stated that on 17 September 2022, all schools, colleges, and universities would observe a local holiday tomorrow. This holiday will only announce in the Lahore district. The closing of all private and public sector institutions is because of the 979th Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh RA. Additional Chief Secretary of S&GAD Department Punjab has issued the official notification for a public holiday in Lahore. For this purpose, the government also sent notice to all the concerned departments.
