The government of Pakistan took an amazing step for Children. According to the details, the Punjab government decided to establish the Pakistan First University for child health science under the University of Child Health Sciences Lahore Act, 2021. Moreover, the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Aamir Jan, the Institute of Child Health upgraded to the status of a university and the Children Hospital in Lahore its constituent hospital. Also, a landmark project which will act as a first degree awarding institute in child health in Pakistan. It is the first university in Pakistan to offer a degree in child health.
According to the details, three medical colleges of the University of Child Health Sciences will be under this university.
